I crossed the border from Turkey into Bulgaria. I spent most of my time in the sea-side city of Varna. Talk about a change of culture…
Per my usual MO, I made a bee-line for the beach on the black sea. It was a bit different than the beaches I experienced elsewhere in Europe.
This guy taught his dog to sing, and was happy to perform for passersby.
I never saw a car like this anywhere else, maybe someone knows more about it and can fill me in?
Did you know that in Bulgaria they nod their head for No, and shake their head for Yes? Totally opposite of the rest of the world, and a bit funny and confusing.
It was cool seeing people out and about on the warm afternoons.
